| The day after the Quell Announcement, Mickey made his was over to District Three after getting permission. They let him because he was a Victor. He went to North Fairstone's home, the only Victor from District Three, he and Mickey met at a Victor's Feast, and became good friends, and very close. He just wanted to talk to someone. He knocked on the door, and waited for North to answer. |

| North was sitting on the couch, watching the news. New tributes to mentor, probably another pair of tributes that die. Being the only victor from District 3, he had to mentor two tributes at one, which was a difficult job, but he did it well. Hearing someone knock on the door, he brushed off any lint on his jeans, and opened the door, surprised to see who was there in front of him. "Mickey? It's been a while since I've seen you. Come on in." He stepped aside to let Mickey in first. "How is everything?" |

| "Everything is okay, it's just this Quell thing." he replied. What were they going to do? Mickey and North were not only friends, but 'sworn enemies of the Games', supposedly. All of the careers will team up together, and kill the threes faster than who knows what. "They're trying to break the Districts apart. Turn us against each other? I don't like it." he stated. Why would they do this to them? They clearly have no idea what's going on within their own country. It's said, and pitiful. Panem should be a place of peace. A place without war. No bloodshed. But every year they send 23 children to die, and 1 to come out crowned a "Victor"? They may as well let murder be legal in Panem. |

| "And all the mothers and fathers worried about their children are probably going to watch them get murdered. Breaking the districts apart is exactly what the Capitol's trying to achieve. Just to make sure we don't team up again and start another rebellion." he stated. "It's hard when you bond with the tributes you mentor and then they die. Killing off the most innocent members of the society. I really don't understand why Panem can't go back to the peaceful place it once was." The games were like execution for no reason whatsoever. Except one person survived the execution, and gets fortune and fame. "Want anything to drink?" he asked.

| Mickey knew that he and North would soon be put on either side of a line. He suspected that the Tributes this year would be ruthless, reckless, killers. He just saw it, he knew. And somehow alliances would form, but in those alliances, Tributes would have to keep their sanity, and their grip, just so they won't kill each other. No food, maybe no water? Only weapons? This whole Games would be a Bloodbath itself. "Panem was a different place when we were born, at least. We were the some of the first to ever encounter these Games, and you'd think after 25 years, the Capitol would have had enough, but they haven't, I suppose," he replied. It was true. These Hunger Games were only a punishment, supposedly. Now the Capitol was doing them for fun. Enjoyment. Entertainment. "Who is happy when someone dies? I don't get their sense." he questioned. "Water is fine, thank you." he answered. Mickey sat up in his chair, thinking about what would happen. He couldn't even imagine. |

| North went to the kitchen to pour Mickey a glass of water. When he returned, he placed the glass on the coffee table in front of him. "You're welcome. The Capitol gets some type of power from doing these. The games make them feel like they're unstoppable. People are trying to rebel against this now, I heard there is a rebellion in District 11. I don't blame that district. The Capitol probably thinks that killing of the residents of the Districts is somewhat avenging the Capitol's fallen." North knew the District 3 tributes would get killed faster than ever. Maybe they wouldn't, if they had brains and were different than the ruthless. blood-thirsty, tributes.

| Mickey hadn't heard of the District Eleven uprising until now. It has begun. District Eleven has done exactly what the Capitol wanted, defy them. "So now when their Tributes enter the Arena, the Capitol will have a reason to let the Arena do the killing of them itself." he stated. Mick knew that the only way to win was to be the last one standing. He had to do it himself, and it was hard. Now that the Capitol was forcing Tributes to kill through blackmail, this Games may end up being short. "Us Victors need to talk. Hopefully some of the others are thinking like we are. We don't have to all try to overthrow the Capitol in the Arena, but we need to all have fair fights. Doubleteaming isn't something I believe in.. At all." he said. |
