Fabian was in his room, staring at the ceiling. The next day was the beginning of Training. How would Zander do? What was running through his head? He looked at the wall that had the print of clouds. They wanted him to feel like he was in Heaven? This was no Heaven by far. He was no where near perfection. He heard a knock at the door and went to open it. He saw Zander standing there.

Zander was good with words. Fabian was falling for him already, after not even a full week. But he was about to send him off to his death maybe? Was this right at all? "I have you to take care of, if I choke, who cares," he said smiling. Fabian looked at the cup, and grabbed it, then took a small sip. "I think you're quite sweet, Zander." he said. "In fact.. your mouth tasted like.. the most.. decadent, flavorful.. taste.. in the whole wide world," he stated. "Does it?" he asked about the sky. "I know you miss it." he said. Fabian said up and looked into Zander's eyes as he continued talking. After talking about the taste of his mouth, all he could think about was kissing him again. And again. And again. And almost was never enough. He didn't want to make the first move, so he just listened. "No I didn't. Well I knew that it was.. rather on the poor side, but the right to see grass is like the right to breathe." he stated.

Laughing about it felt a little bit weird. Zander didn't know much about saving people other then that he would try his best do so. What if someone got hurt in the games? He asked in his head giving the answer back that what had to be done for him to return is needed." Well for starters I care..about you..alot." Zanders face blushed a lightly at all the compliments coming from Fabian. They were kind and sweet and made Zander feel lovely. Like the way he felt about him. Zander turned onto his side to face Fabian before he lifted his head and gave Fabian another sample of the taste. "Thanks..that was just another sample of it i suppose." He smiled as he was now back to looking at the realistic sky ceiling. Even if it was just a illusion it was very good. The dark eyed boy looked at Fabian sitting up and talking about how he didn't know that about the district. Zander hand went from touching Fabians hand to going to shoulder and stopping at neck. Guiding Fabian down with a smile so now Zander was looking up at Fabian. His lips met Fabians again softly before turning into a whisper." Don't they teach you anything in the capitol schools about the districts."

Fabian hoped that Zander would do what he said earlier about killing Tributes. "You do know.. that they will come after you first, right?" he asked in a serious but light tone. The conversation drew back to their relationship. Fabian smiled, and placed his hand on Zander's leg. "What makes you.. care for someone like me?" he asked. Soon after Fabian found himself kissing Zander again. "Do you like apples?" he asked and laughed. The 'sample' should have been more. Fabian stayed close to Zander as he asked his next question. "No, I never thought I'd meet someone like you," he said. Fabian leaned his head and decided to steal another kiss from Zander. "You remember what you asked me earlier?" he stated, whispering close to Zander's ear.

Zu]ander was a little bit surprised by the sudden seriousness."Because I'm nice?" Tilting his head confused at the question. Maybe it was because he was from a poor district and they thought he couldn't make himself kill. They would be wrong. Feeling Fabi's hand on his leg felt nice and it got his attention away from the ceiling." Fabian...you have done some of the kindest thing and have comforted me in my time of need. Besides i care about everyone, We are all human right?" Zander had then kissed him and was asked a question that brought laughter out of him." Yes I do, do you?" Laughing at the question and realizing how close he made Zander and Fabian. The whole games had brought him close to someone knew and the production was feelings of caring for the other." I never thought I would meet someone while at the capitol." Zander thought the capitol people were interesting in cloths that he would probably not understand but the way of getting past the games. Fabian was different and that was probably what had brought them close. Zander opened his mouth hoping maybe Fabian would get the suggestion to French. His hand went and grabbed the back of Fabians neck as he whispered into his ears." Yes I do remember." Zander replied in a whisper as he rubbed the back of Fabians neck with his hand." Why do you ask?" He asked still whispering and running his fingers on his neck."

"Because.. you're from District Eight. I'm sure you've seen that they're usually the first to go in the Bloodbath, or barely make it through Day One before being hunted down by Careers. Which is why the only one with you now. But you.." he said, as tears came to his eyes. "You go out there and you, Zander. Show them different." If Zander could go out there with no fear of the Careers, they couldn't get past him. And he could win. The truth was, Fabian really wanted Zander to win. Not for selfish reasons, like he wanted to kiss him. But for Zander, his family. For Zander. "We are," he said leaning his head against Zander's. Fabian's apple question was part alcohol part trying to be funny. "There's a myth that said that people that look the most attractive eating apples are the best kissers." he said. "I'd love to watch you eat an apple sometime," he stated. Fabian was starting to really develop feelings for Zander. He didn't know if it was his smile, but whatever it was, it made him happy. Fabian french kissed Zander again, this time it lasted longer than the other times. "I want.. to give you what you want," he said.

It was true that District Eight normally didn't survive the bloodbath. If they did they mostly gone too day two to be hunted down by the careers. The method had never made since to Zander as he figured they would want to get rid of someone from seven who knew how to axes rather then sew by hand. Zanders hand went and wipe a tear that formed in Fabians eye as he talked in way that made him really think and feel that he cared." I will Fabian. I will fight for everyone i care about with my same smile....but i wont let the games change me. Not for one bit." Zander smiled looking up at him and seeing the sky above him. Zander almost felt like he was in a soft meadow with the bed being the grass and the illusion of a sky above. The thought didn't distract the boy from thinking about how he would kill but not let it change him. His head nodding agreeing as Fabian was right about everyone being human. It was true...even if some people acted non human it didn't change that they were people and deserved respect and dignity. Zander laughed a bit at the myth." We could both share a apple and we will look like babes in the mirror." He stated a little less laughing as he smiled and thought about. As he was frenched by Fabian who he then returned the gesture to as it was longer then previously. His ears heard the bliss of a yes. The young brown eyed tribute kissed Fabians neck upwards until he met his lips but didn't kiss, Yet. "Then what are you waiting for." He whispered as he tilted his head and kissed Fabian passionate while running his hands too his shoulders and back. He couldn't be anymore happier that what could be his last be with someone he cared for and had feelings for. Zander smiled and took off his shirt. Not as easy as he though as he was laying on his back and Fabian was above him but he got it off. with a smile as he then sucked and kissed Fabians neck some more

Fabian smiled as he looked down at Zander after climbing on top of him. "You know, I'm still in control. Even if you've done this before." he laughed a little. Fabian ripped off his shirt, and threw it to the ground. He massaged Zander's shoulders while looking into his eyes. They kissed a few times, and Fabian let out a light sigh. He had been waiting for this moment for at least an hour. He then leaned down and kissed Zander's neck, and went down the line. Chest, abs, the V. Then he saw the lining of Zander's pants. "Mind if I take them off?" he asked. He undid the pants and the zipper quickly, and felt over Zander's underwear, his mantool. "I'm still bigger." he said. Fabian took off his pants, and went back to kissing Zander, the good kind, French. He let out light grunts, soft enough so the girl in the other room couldn't hear. "We're.. Drunk in Love." he said.

Giggles escaped the teenager as he listened to Fabian." Shoot and i thought I was the master from doing it before." Zander eyes were then distracted by looking at Fabian now shirtless. He was as attractive with them on as he was with them off. He was happy and enjoying the kisses and loving the sensations on his neck. This was how a last time was suppose to feel. This is how his first should of been. Here with Fabian, Someone he cared about. Lips meeting the others neck before he felt Fabian kiss his chest, then his abs, then the V." Be my guest." After he spoke in a pleasure and happy manner he felt Fabian hand touch his underwear that was the only thing separating his mantool. His eyes rolled at Fabians comment about size. "Way to rub it in....but that why your above me silly." Zander did one chuckle that was calm as he looked into his eyes before Fabian took off his pants. His hands could help but go down and touch and give one squeeze to his but as they frenched kissed. A smile came over him after what Fabian said. "Yes we are."

Waking up to what felt like a banging on his head. Zander was not feeling good with his first hang over as he walked out of his room with fuzzy memories of what happened last night.  He didn't care to put on a shirt since he figured some people might be asleep still as he tried sorting what he remembered. He took barefoot steps in his boxers to a pad like thing on the wall in the kitchen. Going to breakfast options and having a simple two egg, bacon, and yogurt. It reminded him of food at home...but normally he would share half with Zarah. The boy was also amazed at how quickly it arrived to him. Before he could yawn it was too him and now he sat at the table eating his eggs and sorting his memory. But the banging in his head wasn't helping.

Zander quickly arose from his bed and sat straight up. He didn't have a dream. He tasted his mouth and he knew what it was. Alcohol. This meant that something was wrong. He then noticed that he was naked. Not the girl, please not the girl. He felt his sheets and they were sticky. Zander? He questioned himself. He got up and put on basketball shorts, underwear, and a robe. He heard someone up. He saw the clock on the bedside, 5:03 AM. Training started at 9 so he had time to get ready. He walked into the hallway, and looked both ways, and then saw Zander in the kitchen. He inhaled, and then exhaled.
He walked slowly down the hallway, and tried to get a glimpse at his mood before he began speaking. Where is his shirt? He shook his head as it began hurting. He was then right next to Zander, and watched him. "Good morning."

Zander's memory  of what happened last night was kind of hazy. First his butt hurt and so did his head. He also could get past this strange taste in his mouth. What he had together so far was kissing and remembering apples. He thought long and hard about who he could of kissed. Now he looked a bottle of alcohol he had left their from last night. He stared at it with his brown eyes and thought. The taste...it must of been alcohol. His mind started remembering that he had gotten upset...with that Demo's kid and started drinking...and now he had the same slight pain from the night with Demos. He forked a piece of his scrambled egg when the answer hit him. IT WAS FABIAN. Choking on the egg a bit as it almost went down the wrong pipe. Then another hammer hit his head and he groaned to himself letting the thought of it soak in. Perhaps he was wrong and he shouldn't be playing detective. The sudden voice startled him as he hadn't noticed Fabian there. Zander felt a blush on his own face, probably feeling a little weird sitting at the table in his boxers. "Uh....Morning Fabian." Letting a yawn escape his lips." How was your sleep?. You can sit down if you'd like."

Fabian didn't want to act like nothing happened. Because it did. It was all coming back to him, quickly. He remembered every moment, that he savored, he had used this boy for his own pleasure, and he could have not even wanted it. "I'm sorry," he said. He sat down at the other end of the table, feeling ashamed. He didn't want to make it seem like what he did was right. He felt, dirty. Nasty. "Look, you can turn me in if you want. Tell them, I'll be punished. You.. do whatever you want." he said, with his head down. Fabian wasn't taking a second to waste, he started thinking about what life would be as an avox. He had abused a child. He had let alcohol get the best of him. Not long ago he was telling Zander not to let the Games control him, but he let something control himself? Hypocrite.

Zander kept eating his food as the memories flowed back into his mind. He remembered asking for him to be his last and then a lot of kissing in frenching style and then...something involving Fabians Mantool and Zander. The thoughts and memories of it were sweet...it is what he would classify as his official first time. His brown eyes noticed Fabian sitting at the end of the table and his ears caught a I'm sorry. Once again he almost choked on his food as he heard Fabian." Excuse you?" He raised a black haired eyebrow to Fabian with a worried expression. Then he put together that he was talking about what happened last night. "Fabian...I'm not telling anyone because it was fine. " A smile swept over his face as he went to the sink and washed his plate and grabbed another spoon incase Fabian wanted one." Fabian...have a yogurt." He pushed the yogurt container to Fabian as he opened his and took a scoop of the yummy contents. "Fabian... I don't know what idea you had of last night. But i enjoyed it....and thank you for doing it." He smiled but he was still worried from what Fabian had said.

Fabian was confused. The boy liked it? "I'm.. Thirty-Two, and you're Seventeen. You're not.. offended by.. how I look?" he asked. Zander thought about last night as if was a dream. Sure it had started with him being drunk..but it ended sweetly. He wouldn't have wanted anybody else for his last...under the certain circumstances. " Your ....very attractive man. With apparently larger member that you just couldn't leave unmentioned." A smirk coming across his face as he took another scoop of the strawberry delight. Hark floated into his mind so quickly that Zander has his mouth open with the pinch of guilt before the answer came by. Lie...like this never happened. It wasn't like Hark would expected him to sleep with another in the games. O god...with two people in the games. The only thing keeping Zander from just planning on winning these games and not telling was his own kindness. He felt guilty for his actions but he would have to sort through them after the games...besides if any of this leaked he feared Fabian could and would be arrested and turned into a avox. He had his mind out in space when he was asked the other two question. It took Zander a minute to think of what Fabian meant by protection. As you can see Zanders family...lightly told of safe sex as their kids were not sexually active and because they couldn't pay for condemns constantly...probably like most other district families. There was also the factor that Zander was gay and his parents didn't like thinking of the act...and explained the only protection they knew that was affordable. Pulling out. "Well you were on top of me...and you ..well you know...entered." Zander wasn't the best at describing sex...as he didn't have it ...other then these two times so describing was new."Uhhh...the only protection I was taught was pulling out which you sort of did." He looked down at his yogurt and wanted to know if the capitol hadn't seen this. Fabian laughed a little bit. He went to go start up the Coffee Maker. "I was afraid that you didn't.. Nevermind. But from what I remember, you gave me a run for my money.." he stated. Fabian watched Zander in delight as he ate. He deserved it. "You tired me out. I haven't been that active in a while," he said with a chuckle. It was true. Fabian did work out, but he hadn't rolled around in a bed since maybe his 20s. He had a dark past, which he didn't want to speak on. "But what about your.. friend?" he asked. He was referring to Zander's boyfriend back home. What would he think of this? Well he couldn't see it of course, he wasn't there. But what if somehow he found out? What if Zander told him? This could all blow over. "Oh.." he said. "And no, there aren't any monitored cameras in the rooms. The Capitol and the Districts for that matter only see what the Capitol wants them to see, the Games. Which.. isn't what we did." he stated. "But.. if you do tell your.. friend. Please tell him that I'm sorry, please." he stated. "I didn't know it would go far."

Grinning as he watched Fabian start the coffee maker. He listened to his words that gave him a chuckle." Well I do run a lot...not with money though.. "The boy listened to Fabian as he tried getting the little bit of yogurt he had left. Smirking as he listened. "Running all day...has given be quite a bit of stamina....Who says it was just for running." He smiled a little before he started thinking about Hark again. He felt guilty that he had slept with two people...yet with one...he would do it again in a heart beat. His silence towards Fabian as he reached and grabbed a apple on the table. Feeling it around he knew it wasn't fake. Zander turned his head to look at Fabians eyes as he was serious in tone but sweet as he could." He cannot know.....if he knew i was falling in love with you.. I just don't think i could do that to him. But.. " Taking a bit of his apple as he paused looking at Zander." I cant deny that I have fallen for you." He sighed as he took another bite out of the red fruit.

Fabian felt so bad. What had he done? He was going to help a child win the Games, just to go back home and lie the rest of his life? It wasn't right. "I don't want you to lie for me." he said. His brown eyes looked at the table even when Fabian told him to look. Fabian was so right about it. He should tell Hark what happened and get him to keep a secret. Maybe Hark could forgive him and imagine it in his shoes. Honestly Zander didn't think he could forgive himself. He didn't have to sleep with Demo's...he could of ran but he wanted the alliance so much. He pushed aside his want to stay innocent till marriage for some stupide alliance that could be back stabbed. And what happened with Fabian....he had wanted. He couldn't lie about that. The tribute liked every moment of what happened last night that he would gladly redo it as he had feelings for Fabian. He looked at Fabian with his eyes that were teary with guilt and sadness over the whole predicament. Then he heard what he said about his feelings. A smile came across his face he kept I contact as he talked. Touching Fabians face for a moment before continuing talking." He kept looking at his eyes and thinking of the rest of what he said." I don't care what promises you made....you granted my wish...and I'm very grateful for that."

Fabian's eyes suddenly changed to green. "A wise man one said that.. there wouldn't be such thing as a boundary. If it wasn't made to be broken." he stated with a slight smile. Fabian would be switched back to ten, unless there was a miracle. "Zander. Do you.. love me?" he asked. This conversation changed from sad to serious within a matter of seconds. But the question needed to be asked. It was what both of them were thinking. Now the truth just had to set them free.

Zander took notice of Fabians eye change wondering what capitol magic could be performed on him. They could probably turn him blue if he won...not that he would want it. He listen to Fabian talk about a wise man as he laid his head on Fabians shoulder. Zander knew now that he would have to tell Hark. It was right...he needed to know. Hark deserved to know. Maybe he could get him to keep it a secret and forgive. Zander had mixed feelings but stilled hoped he would. The question was surprising. The tribute thought of it for a moment before letting his hand touch Fabians hand holding it before he lifted his head of his should. His brown eyes looked at Fabians green eyes." Fabian...I love you in more ways then one....As a escort, as a friend, and as a lover." He squeezed Fabians hand gently." So yes...I love you....but do you love me?" Zander would feel foolish if he didn't....but hopefully he did.

Tears started forming in Fabian's eyes and running down his cheeks. He was confused, upset, and messed up all at the same time. Zander just confessed his love for Fabian. The boys brown eyes started to water as he heard the sweetest things from this man. The hand that wasn't holding Fabians as he spoke so sweetly...was the one that lightly wiped away the tears running down Fabians cheeks. His fingers wiped the wetness off when they went through Fabi's hair and rested on his neck as tears dripped off the boys chin and cheeks." I just want a world were we can be together forever." Zander spoke crying tears of joy, sadness, and fear of when all this would have to end for him to enter a games were he could die. The tribute wished it could be like this forever...right now him here close with Fabian. He knew he would have to cherished this for as long as he could for the few days he had left. The words he spoke kept bringing emotions of joy though...happy to be sure that Fabian loved him. Not that it would of stopped Zander from loving him. " Oh oh Fabian.. I love you so much." He smiled as the tears made streams on his cheeks. The kiss was soft as his chin was raised. So gentle that for Fabian the moment could of been forever. A special moment in a special moment. Looking at Fabian with a grin at the apple words." I would like to see you have one sometime." He smiled at there closeness as he had rested his forehead on Fabians forehead. Zander gave a Fabian a eskimo kiss by rubbing his nose from side to side to Fabians nose sweetly before speaking sincerely. He had to catch his breath as the moment had taken his breath away. Seems Fabians kisses really did take his breath away." I wish we could stay like this....in this moment forever."

Fabian touched Zander's hand after he got done wiping his face. He listened to him, and he cried as he did. "I will take care of you. Don't worry about anything. Then Zander rubbed his nose against Fabian's, and Fabian laughed. "We're like.. a fairytale." he said. Zander's eyes leaked with salty tears that made more rivers on his cheek's. He heard what Fabian said and he didn't want Fabian to blow up all his money and end up poor. If he was to die he didn't want Fabian to live poor and alone. If he was to go he wanted him to find happiness. Right now Fabian was confused...about the games and how things would go but he wasn't confused on his feelings. "Fabian i don't want you to be poor..." It was true that Zander didn't want to see Fabian poor and struggling like he had seen in his district some would think it would be fair for that to happened to him...but Zander knew it wasn't. As he rubbed his nose against Fabians hearing his words. The tributes voice went from sweet..to slightly sadden. "And the games are the..dragon, witch, evil stepmother, or sorcerer i suppose?" Zander was unsure about what would happened after the games however, the moment was blissfully sweet. The frenching was long and nice as Zander had Frenched back flirtatiously. "But...even if i win...I mean...we couldnt be together. The capitol ...wouldn't allow it." What he was referring to was seeing each other. Zander guessed they would probably have to make due with a victors tour and mentoring ....once a year.

Fabian lightly moved Zander to his shoulder. "I won't, but don't worry about me. Worry about staying alive. And trust no one as far as you can throw them." he said. "I've seen how regular Games go. People will change sides in the blink of an eye. Don't let anyone walk behind you. Always walk to the side of people or behind them. Stay close so they don't get suspicious about you and turn on you." he said. "Keep your head up. Don't stare. Leave any animals or mutts alone unless you think they'll attack. Don't let them get too close to you. Even the most beautiful things can be the most dangerous." he said. He couldn't stress to Zander how this was all laying on his shoulders. The girl from his District basically wrote herself a death sentence because she never talked. She seems like the type of girl to get killed in the Bloodbath because she gave up.
