Fabian looked up from where he was sitting in the bar. It wasn't a famous one, it was one where you could go just to hang out with friends, without being disrupted by some Capitol jerk. He had broken things off with Zander not too long ago and he was still getting over it. He was better than he was that day though. He stayed up all night, and didn't go outside of his home for the rest of that week. He was still confused about his feelings, and wanted some comfort. The only way he'd get this is if he'd go out there and go on dates. But he was too scared to ask. The situation that had happened has gave him the mindset that no one can ever love him, someone so cruel. So unworthy. He sipped his water, and continued to stare at the wall in front of him. The rest of the people at the bar were dancing, but he was in no mood to be doing that either.

What else was there to do on a task free night? Drink? Well, that was the reason he had a drink in his hand tonight, gingerly sipping at it from his table and watching people dance with a bored expression on his face. People were happy with where their life was going. Tatum, on the other hand, was not so happy with just playing on his holographic computer for the rest of the night. He needed to be social, he definitely need to be around people for that as well. It was only a matter of time before he went insane and tonight was better than any other to get out and experience what every other Capitolian had on a daily basis.

These people were dancing to their heart's content, jumping and smiling, it made Tatum ask himself why such a thing had to happen at a bar. Why couldn't people drink in peace? Was that not normal? Tatum sighed, blowing warm air around his drink and holding it back to lips, taking a bigger gulp from it before turning his eyes at someone at the bar. Some man was also sitting by his lonesome, a view that intrigued Tatum quite a lot. His curious side took over, and before he knew it, the Gamemaker was marching up behind the other man with fingers wrapped around his drink. "Hey there!" He greeted him loudly, just so the man would be able to hear Tatum over the music. "Mind if I sit?" He nodded over to the seat next to the stranger, looking back at him with hopeful eyes.

The man, Fabian recognized somehow, seemed very nice. Fabian's mood was most likely displeasing, but he couldn't help but smile when the man came over to him. Just what he had been wishing for: comfort. Who was this man? Was it fate? What was going to happen? There had to be a reason why they were the only two people not dancing. Even the bartender was getting their little groove on. He heard the man speaking, and his voice was heard, even over the music. Fabian would block anything out just to listen to him. It sounded like something wonderful. He couldn't help but speak back, just to get an excuse to hear him speak again. "Hello," Fabian said smiling a little bit. "Of course you can sit here." he said. Maybe it was time for him to move on. But what would they do? Still lie about who or what they were? Fabian was jumping to conclusions, he didn't even know if the man was interested in things like that, so he had to be careful about what he said. Someone could turn him in quick, and he'd be punished. Severely. He and Zander were something, even if for a few days. But maybe this man.. they could last.

It wasn't like he was interrupting anyone, this man was supposedly alone and Tatum wanted to take full advantage of his enabled time. Once he was granted permission to sit, the man smiled back in gratitude and dropped himself on the seat, his fingers tapping at the glass between his finger tips. How did someone who hadn't been socializing for the longest while, like himself, begin to talk to a man who looked like he was better off with someone else for company? Of course, he wasn't just about to get up and leave. That would make him a coward, plus it was kinda rude and Tatum was above such behavior. "Tatum," He said to the other man, his own name rolling out of his mouth in a simple breath. "Pardon my assumption, but you didn't look very happy from where I was sitting."

From what Fabian has seen so far, this man, Tatum.. He was very friendly. Like he wanted something? However, Fabian ignored his mean side, and just went along with his regular self. Was he being tested? What did this guy exactly want.. But, Fabian did want someone. Badly. Maybe Tatum was the one for him. "Fabian," he said. The man must do this on the regular basis. The only time Fabian talks is when he escorts the Tributes.. Which didn't turn out to well this time, at least between the two of them. He and Zander's days together was the only time Fabian ever had a true connection with a Tribute. What would happen this Fall when the second Games of the year rolled around? What would they do when they saw each other? What if Zander's friend was Reaped? Wouldn't he or she want answers? "No pardon is needed. Excuse me for not speaking first," he said with a little laugh. "And I was upset, but now that you've come, I feel much better now." he suggested. As smile grew on his face and he looked into the man's eyes.

Fabian. Such a dominant name, yet still rare enough for Tatum. He read a lot into someone's name, it was quite easy for the Gamemaker to figure someone out like that - and then be totally wrong later on. Who knows, maybe Fabian was the type who liked power. Tatum would hopefully find out in this conversation. "Cute name." He responded, bringing no aim towards his words and letting the alcohol sit inside his head. Fabian went on, explaining what Tatum had believed. He earned a slight tilt of the Gamemaker's head in response, looking at Fabian with slight curiosity. "Glad I could do that for you then," He chuckled, sweeping the surface of the bar with one hand. "I guess you don't feel like talking about it, huh?"

Fabian laughed a little. Was Tatum flirting with him? For a man he just met, he seemed quite the charmer. Almost as if it were his job. What did he do exactly? Fabian wondered. "Thank you," he said with a chuckle. Maybe Tatum had been there. What was he drinking? His breath did smell like alcohol. But would he be this nice if he wasn't drunk? Was this his alternate personality, that only came out when he was under the influence of alcohol? "Yeah, I was going to speak, but.. It's just not like me." he said. Fabian watched the male's hand as it moved. "I.. It's personal." he said.

Maybe it wasn't the best time for a conversation when alcohol was shooting through his veins. Tatum never learned the proper way of socializing, though it wasn't like he had poured a gallon or two into his system. He was still able to function and control his own words, plus his actions which were much more important in this situation. "Personal, huh?" He nodded, submitting to his decision. "I won't pry then." Holding his drink to Fabien, he looked past him to the people dancing. "Too upset to dance as well?"

Fabian blushed a little bit. Was Tatum hitting on him? Only time would tell. Maybe he'd ask him out.. But here? In front of all of these people? They'd get caught, or heard at least. Someone's bound to get bored of dancing soon. They'd have to leave. "Yeah." he stated. Fabian looked away in embarrassment. He felt so bad. He could just be nice to the man, but his wall was up. High. No one can climb over. "I think I'm going to go, a limo is waiting for me outside," he stated. "It's late and.. I have the bed to attend to." he stated. He hoped that Tatum would get the hint that he wanted him to come with, but maybe he didn't. He figured that a man like him probably did though, the way he was flirting with him before.

Tatum didn't believe anyone would hear him over the blaring music, though people seemed to be getting tired now and it was probably best that he was quiet when talking to Fabien. "Fair enough." He told him, resigning from the idea of dancing. Eventually, Fabien spoke out that he had a limo waiting for him and Tatum had to guess that he was being asked to follow, especially when a bed was mentioned. "I'll.. Walk you out."

Fabian walked out of the club, and saw his limo waiting outside. The partition in between the front and the back was up, so the Driver couldn't hear or see him. This was a perfect opportunity to talk to Tatum about what they were earlier. He opened the door for Tatum. "Go ahead, get in." he said softly. He smiled a little bit, almost not enough to be seen. But he was happy. Fabian entered the car soon after, and looked at Tatum's eyes boldly.

As soon as Tatum was told to go inside, the Gamemaker smiled and moved into the large vehicle. He leaned back against the expensive material and watched as the other man climbed in next to Tatum, causing a look of calm to wash over the Gamemaker. "I like it."

Fabian smiled at the male, and didn't look away from him. He was always complimenting something. Maybe it was really his personality. But he was drunk. He couldn't take advantage of this, could he? He didn't want to get in trouble. "Thanks," he said with a laugh, still looking at him. "So, besides flirting, what do you do as your job?" he asked.

Tatum bit at the corner of his lip when asked about his occupation. Most Capitol people wouldn't mind being told that the person they were conversing with were known to be killers, but Tatum felt a little apprehensive here with someone that didn't seem like the rest of these Capitol folk. "I'm a Gamemaker."

Gamemaker? He was sitting in a car with a murder?! What were the odds.. But he didn't care. For what he had done so far in his life, he had no room to judge anyone. After all, nobody's perfect. "Tribute Escort, District 10" he said. It was weird that he hadn't met him yet. "
Don't worry, I don't judge. My past isn't clean either." he suggested. "Nobody's perfect." he said. Soon, the limousine pulled around to Fabian's home. It was small, but it was very nice. He didn't need a big house, because it was only him. He got out of the car, and left the door open for Tatum to get out. Then he walked to the front door, unlocked it, then opened it. "I have a guest room, if you're too sleepy to keep talking," he stated. "You can put your belongings in there, I won't bother you. I promise."

He wasn't ever going to have a clean record, maybe that was a wish that would never come true. People looked at him and thought he actually enjoyed bringing kids in to test his holographic made Arenas and to draw their lives, stopping them in their tracks and preventing the kids from growing up and becoming more involved with what surrounded them. "Guess you're right," He huffed, instinctively slipping out of the car and following the other man to his door. Once inside, he considered the words and bit his lower lip in nervousness. "I, uh." The Gamemaker started, his hand rising to the back of his neck to scratch at his warming flesh. "I wouldn't mind you bothering me."

Fabian didn't like him because of his occupation. Gamemakers actually turn him off. Having kids be killed by anything from floods to giant man-eating birds, that's crazy. Who would think of such a thing? Tatum. However, his personality showed otherwise. Was he a nice Gamemaker? Was it Gorran, the Head Gamemaker that was the meanest? Who knew. "Bothering you how?" he asked. As he spoke, he turned around slowly and looked the man deep in his eyes. Ask for what you want. He thought. Ask for what you want.

Tatum could blame all his actions on the alcohol he had consumed. Unfortunately, he hadn't drank enough to be considered drunk. Everything he did and said was coming out pure without alcohol forcing it out, though he was slightly dizzy as he inched closer to Fabien, eyes pouring into the Escort's and looking to see if he could find any hint of want in Fabien's eyes - maybe it wouldn't be so hard if he knew that all of this was fine.

Fabian moved closer to Tatum. And soon they were face to face. Finally. What they both had been wanting all night. What did they want? Love? Passion? "It's your move." he said softly, his breath minty fresh." It was completely up to Tatum what happened next. Fabian was ready for anything. His eyes glowed in the light, and he was there. Centered. Tatum had the decision. Fabian didn't want to force anything on anyone.

It had been a while since Tatum had actually been this close with a man; physically close and emotionally. They were now face to face, breathing in each others air and waiting for something to happen. The man finally took the initiative, his hand coming up to place its self on Fabien's cheek, though using his fingers to pull the other man's face even closer so Tatum could press their lips together in a firm kiss.

Fabian felt the soft lips of the man on his. They were refreshing. He felt brand new. Who could ever make him feel this way? He felt set free. Like he grew wings and was ready to fly. He felt the hand of Tatum's on his cheek, and during the kiss he put both of his hands on either side of Tatum's waist. The kiss was amazing. It was like Fabian had finally found love. He looked deeply into the male's eyes after, waiting for him.

OOC NOTE: So if they like have sex, we can't actually do it, it has to fade to black, part of the site rules! So I guess if you wanted that to happen next, you can put fade to black at the end of your post.

As they kissed, Tatum was brought closer by hands that had found his hips. He sighed blissfully, leaning into it more and grounding his hips into Fabien's, pushing him gently towards the door of the guest bedroom while their lips were still pressed together. He had every intention to take advantage of Fabien's hospitality. After pushing the door open from his position against the other man, Tatum returned to nudging Fabien along into the room before kicking the door shut behind himself.

Fabian kept close to Tatum while they proceeded to the doors of the guest bedroom. He was finally with someone that cared for him. Someone that could hold him. Love him. Someone that he could cherish forever. Tatum's lips tasted like heaven.

--Fade to Black--

Fabian woke up in bed next to Tatum. He couldn't tell if he was up yet, because he was turned the other way. What happened last night was full of wonder. Fabian never felt this way before. However, if they were going to make this a permanent thing. They'd have to hide it. Fabian didn't want them to be turned into Avoxes. Fabian stared at Tatum's bare back, waiting for him to turn his way.

Unsure of what to do, Tatum laid still on his side. He wasn't sure if he were supposed to leave, or if he should stay and whisper some kind of tender words into the ear of the sleeping body beside his own. As far as he knew, Tatum had just experienced a random act of intercourse. He ended up turning on his side, eyes falling to the open gaze of Fabien's, who was clearly awake. "Oh," He started hesitantly, "I'll just.. Go." The man slowly sat himself up, hand running down the side of his face.

Fabian looked up and saw Tatum trying to leave. For some reason. He wanted him to stay. This wasn't just a one night stand. He had felt a real connection with him. Fabian got up and walked over to him. "I.. don't know what to say." he stated. Fabian was basically speechless. "I never have had a connection like this before." he slowly moved closer to Tatum, and they were as close as the night before when they kissed.
