PANEM GUIDERag & Bone is set before the book series of The Hunger Games. Therefore, some things from the books are different here on R&B. This thread is a Guide to Panem, which tells about each District, what it's like to live there, and more.
THE CAPITOLThe Capitol is the reigning city over the Districts. In the Capitol, the majority of the Capitolites have no worries, and no care in the world. They usually like the Hunger Games, and influence it's outcomes with their Sponsorships and Bets on Tributes. The Capitol also has three classes:
UPPER CLASS: They have the most money, and don't ever have to worry about getting paid on time.
MIDDLE CLASS: They get by, and don't really have little money, but not a lot either.
LOWER CLASS: They worry all the time about what they're going to eat, do, drink, and how they're going to live.
The Capitol isn't all rich and famous people.

THE UPPER DISTRICTSThe Upper Districts have an abundance of money compared to the other Districts (with the exception of District Three). Two of these Districts are Career Districts. The Upper Districts Include Districts One, Two, and Three.
DISTRICT ONEDistrict One is considered to be the richest District in Panem. Their industry is Luxury. They provide some of the move expensive items to the Capitol. Their inhabitants live in homes that are considered a miracle to the Lower Districts if they even ever see one. Their Tributes are Careers, and often team with District Two and Four during the Games to kill off other Tributes.

DISTRICT TWODistrict Two is one of the wealthier Districts of Panem. Their trade is Masonry. They build things for the Capitol. Inhabitants in this District live in very nice homes. This is also the District where most Peacekeepers come from, and this District is particularly favored by the Capitol itself. Two's Tributes are Careers, and often team up with District One and District Four to kill off other Tributes during the Games.

DISTRICT THREEDistrict Three has some sort of wealth. Their industry is Technology, and they provide the Capitol with the majority of blueprints and such things for ideas for new computers, cellphones, data collectors, and even some things for the Hunger Games. This District doesn't often win the Hunger Games, but when they do, it is most likely because their Tributes have an advantage in Capitol Technology.

THE UPPER-MIDDLE
DISTRICTSThe Upper-Middle Districts have an amount of money that is a little less than the Upper Districts.
DISTRICT FOURDistrict Four, despite being a Career District, isn't that wealthy. Their industry is Fishing. They provide seafood, as well as seashells and other various items from the ocean to the Capitol. Their Tributes are Careers and usually team with District One and District Two to kill off other Tributes during the Games. Their District has an advantage of being able to swim, and hold their breath for long periods of time, which helps them during the Games.

DISTRICT FIVEDistrict Five is known for Power. They run the Power Plants that power all of Panem's electricity. They are a middle-class District. Their Tributes have an advantage of Engineering, and Technology. However, their Tributes usually do not win the Games, but when they do it's usually because of their advantage.

DISTRICT SIXDistrict Six is the industry of Transportation. They usually create the hovercrafts, airplanes, trains, and other vehicles of Transportation for the Capitol. Their Tributes have an advantage of Engineering. Their people work long hours in the warehouses. Their Tributes usually do not win the Games.

THE LOWER-MIDDLE
DISTRICTSThe Lower-Middle Districts have a substantial amount of money, just to get them by.
DISTRICT SEVENDistrict Seven is the first of the Lower-Middle Districts. Their industry is Lumber. Their inhabitants tend to be very strong because they have to carry heavy parts of trees. Also, they live in substantial homes. District Seven has a couple wins for the Games.
OCCUPATION IDEAS Lumberjack, Woodsman, Worker, Wood Developer, Student, Teacher
DISTRICT EIGHTDistrict Eight is considered to be one of the poorest Districts in Panem. Their District is known to smell of their factory's fumes. Their industry is Textiles. Their inhabitants are known to be very fashionable, and know how to put good-looking outfits together. They work long hours in their factory. Their Tributes usually do not win the Games.

DISTRICT NINEDistrict Nine is considered to be one of the poorer Districts of Panem. Their industry is Grain. They provide the Capitol with processed Grains for bread and the like. Their inhabitants work long hours in their factory. Their Tributes usually do not win the Games.

THE LOWER
DISTRICTSThe Lower Districts have little to no money, and rarely eat.
DISTRICT TENDistrict Ten is the industry of Livestock. They provide the Capitol with beef, pork, chicken, and turkey products. Their inhabitants are very poor with little to eat. They work and maybe even live on farms where they take care of animals before they have to kill them. Their factory smells of animal scraps and blood. Their Tributes usually do not win the Games.
OCCUPATION IDEAS Cattle Driver, Butcher, Animal Watcher, Student, Teacher, Factory Worker
DISTRICT ELEVENDistrict Eleven is the second poorest District in Panem. Their industry is Agriculture. They provide the Capitol with the freshest of fruit and vegetables. Their inhabitants tend to have a lot of muscle because of eating a lot of fruit and vegetables. Their people however rarely have anything to eat, and often have to steal from the Orchard or Garden to have a meal. Their Tributes don't usually win the Games.

DISTRICT TWELVEDistrict Twelve is considered to be the poorest District in Panem. Their industry is Coal Mining. Their inhabitants start mine work at age 18, and their people have little to no money at all, and are usually looking for food to eat. Their Tributes usually do not win the Games.
