A GUIDE TO FIGHTSOn
Rag & Bone, all fights end when you want them to.(
CLICK TO VIEW AN EXAMPLE FIGHT However, a default ending for a fight is a death of another Tribute. Fights should include the following:
1. Each side of the party must have 2 to 3 posts minimum before using the ending fight code. You can only not follow this rule if you want to take a death, or run away from the fight. Remember that running away will cause you to lose HP.
2. A very good description of what happens
3. No God-modding, or Power-Playing: Don't Control another person's character, only do your action, and let them re-act. Don't give your character more strength or power than needed.
4. You can't start a new fight until the fight you have ended has been checked and your Tribute Card and such has been updated. If you make a mistake, we will start the fight where the mistake was made.During all fights including in the Bloodbath, you must use the dice roll or "Odds Play" in your fighting posts (this includes when you end the fight). The dice determines:
1. If your attack landed at all.
2. How much damage your attack caused.
3. What your opponent posts.
Your Fighting Deathlist range can be seen in your Tribute Card (signature), and in the Tribute List. If your Deathlist is GREEN, you use the Dice marked "FD--GREEN", same for RED, YELLOW, AND ORANGE.
You will get one of 1 of 3 responses:
1. No Damage - 0 HP Lost
2. Half Damage - 3 HP Lost
3. Full Damage - 6 HP Lost
If you get #1, your opponent was not hit at all by your attack. They can dodge, etc. If you get #2, your opponent was slightly hit by your attack, your attack could be off on the direction you went, but they still take damage. If you get #3, your opponent was hit directly by your attack. However, this does not mean immediate death. They can continue to fight, but they did take damage, so they'll have to fight you with an injury.
Fights can have however many members on each side, but remember that Alliances in the Arena are more likely to have Arena Deaths, or at least be attacked by the Arena, because the Arena thinks that two (or more) heads are stronger than one. If more than one person takes part in killing a Tribute or causing lethal damage, you
WILL be attacked by the Arena, so be ready. How to prevent this? Oh bright idea, one on one fights! How about that?
You and your opponent can decide when to end a fight OOC. You can end when you're both almost dead, or just whenever you want. You also can tell each other if one of you is running away, etc. But all fights don't need to end in deaths. If you are bleeding severely, you may die within time, a day maybe at the most.
When fighting you can't aim for the same place twice in a row unless your first aim was a miss, as in 0 HP Damage to your opponent. You can subtract your HP in your post at the bottom but do not mess with the HP in the signature! Remember to do it right! Also, for general fighting it's -10 already, running away is -5.
May the odds be ever in your favour!
