GAMES UPDATES


Hello! This thread will keep you updates on everything that has to do with the 25th Annual Hunger Games, Quarter Quell. There are announcements usually for these reasons:

new day,
at the start of each new day, there will be an update made, that gives the following information:

1. who died the day before
2. if the death quota was met
3. if there will be environmental deaths that day
4. any arena events
5. any other needed information

audience participation,
sometimes the audience will be asked to participate by voting on mutts to enter the arena, different events, and betting on Tributes to win.

THE ARENA

New information has been added about the ARENA , District 13! Remember that there are now 22 spots for Tributes left. Reapings & Pre-Games will take place AFTER we get all Tribute spots taken and a few residents, etc.

MENTORS, STYLISTS, ESCORTS, OH MY!

Just for the sake of simplicity, if a mentor for a District is not being played, just act like they are there. However, please try not to name them, just say "the mentor", "he" , "she", etc. Also, this goes for stylists, escorts (which are not played at all). As well as Avoxes. Any avoxes that become characters before the Games can play in the threads, however remember that Avoxes, CANNOT speak! Be sure to contact me first, I will tell you what District you'll be roleplaying with.

TRIBUTE SIGNUPS

QUARTER MARK!

I know that you've noticed, we've reached a quarter mark in Tribute Signups for each gender! We will wait until the end of this week, and if we get enough Tributes (about 6-10) Signed up, we will begin the Pre-Games, and new members can still sign up a Tribute before we go to the Bloodbath. If no one signs up, the remaining spots will become Arena food, and your Tributes won't be killing them because it will give them an advantage due to the rules of the Quell. The Tributes will just be killed by mutts or something, who knows. But yeah, that's all. Remember to sign up for Fighting System Testing, so you can test your fighting skills! Oh and remember that anyone can play up to 3 Tributes, as long as they are different districts/genders. Also remember that anyone can only play one Career.

NEW RULES

Yesterday, the rules were changed for fighting. You may read them HERE, and continue your fighting threads using those rules. There are also now 15 Tribute Spots left. The suspected date for the Reaping is this Thursday-Saturday, and the Pre-Games starting on Sunday.

DAY ONE

Welcome to the Hunger Games! Today's Death Quota is 5 Tributes. One of these deaths will be taken by Nobility Ordonez who will be killed by the D10 girl (NPC) at the Bloodbath. Other deaths are undetermined. This leaves four deaths for the rest of this week. Get to posting! If Tributes that haven't been posting and active do not show by Tuesday, no one has to die that is active, they will take the deaths. Sorry, but we all knew this was coming. However, if someone wants their character to die, you two can fight it out. Remember in the Bloodbath, once you enter the thread, anyone can attack you, and anyone can enter your thread if they are on your side of the Arena.

All NPC Deaths will be released as they happen. The majority of them will die on Day One. However, they don't count on our Death Quota of Four (Nobility takes one). Remember, even though Tony's Tributes won't be winning these Games, they can still kill yours, however they will die somehow before Day 3.

ACTIVITY &

CERTAIN DEATHS
We already talked about this, so let's get right to it. Under each heading are the Tributes that will die if they don't post in the bloodbath and get out by that day. These days in the headings for this week, OOC. These Games are mostly activity, and if you aren't active, it's unfair for you to stay alive and make the active people kill each other off until you come online and post, and Abra Kadabra you're still alive. That's unfair, and unrealistic so sorry.

THE FLOOD

A flood washes over the Arena and draws the Tributes together for the last death of the day. Tributes are all now in this thread (click to enter). There is no posting order. You can attack anyone once they actually enter the thread.

Everyone is experiencing post-flood symptoms, gagging water, very wet, mud, etc. Also everyone has lost 15 HP.
